What PornHub sends

PornHub offers 1080p, 720p, 480p and 240p on most videos. 1080p comes as one MP4 file and downloads at full speed.

For 720p and lower, PornHub slows its MP4 files to about 0.6 MB a second, so we take the same video from its stream instead and join it into an MP4 as it downloads, at many times the speed. When the stream isn’t available, you get the MP4 file at PornHub’s pace.

One video, measured from our server on 20 October 2026 · Video length: 5:42
Quality	File size
1080p	110 MB
720p	65 MB
480p	38 MB
240p	20 MB

PornHub questions

Do I need a PornHub account?

No. Any video that plays without signing in can be saved. Premium and paid videos can’t.

Why is there no 4K?

PornHub offered nothing above 1080p on the free videos we tested. If a video has more, the print will show it.

Can I save a whole playlist or channel?

Not yet: paste one video at a time.
