About
Porn Downloader turns a link to a video on a supported adult site into an MP4 file on your device. You paste the link; the server reads the site’s public video page, lists every quality the site offers, and when you press Save, fetches that file from the site and passes it on to you.
How it works
Most sites send their videos as plain MP4 files. Those are passed through unchanged, and your browser can resume them if a download stops. Some sites only send their HD versions as a stream of short pieces (HLS). For those, the server joins the pieces into one MP4 while you download, without re-encoding the picture or sound, so the file is exactly what the site sent.
No video is written to the server’s disk, and nothing records who pasted or saved what. The server does count saves per video, without saying by whom, so the most-saved ones can be listed. The privacy page says exactly what it keeps.
What it doesn’t do
It hosts no videos, has no accounts, sells nothing and shows no ads. It can’t read private, paid, members-only or removed videos, and it doesn’t try to.
Supported sites
A site is listed only after a real file came out of it in our own tests. When a site changes and stops working, it comes off the list until it works again. The supported sites page lists all of them with the best quality each one sends.
How we test
For every site, a test link is read from our server the way a visitor’s link is, the smallest quality is saved all the way to the end, and the saved file is opened to check that it has picture and sound and runs for the video’s full length. The last full run passed for all 23 sites on 21 October 2026.
The file sizes on each site’s page come from one real video, read from our server on the day the page gives. Where a size says “about”, the site sends that quality as a stream and the exact size is only known when the download ends.
The counts on site pages (videos saved, links that read, the usual quality) are our own server’s numbers for the last 30 days, and only appear once there are enough to mean something.
